Vectrocon

Client Experience

Ongoing IT management through business change

Vectrocon’s work connects business requirements, technology decisions, implementation, and daily operation.

These client experiences show how that approach supports different operating needs—from bringing structure to an existing environment to managing expansion and coordinating with corporate IT.

Client experience 01

Bringing structure to an advisory firm’s IT

The situation

An independent advisory firm had a fragmented technology environment and needed improvements to document workflows and personnel procedures.

Vectrocon’s role

Vectrocon consolidated the environment and assumed ongoing IT management, connecting improvements to the way the firm operated.

The work

We improved document workflows and established procedures for personnel changes. These improvements became part of the environment’s continuing management.

The outcome and continuing relationship

The firm gained a more structured environment and established operating procedures. It subsequently extended Vectrocon’s engagement to its AI subsidiary, citing reliable, stable systems and processes.

This experience demonstrates how ongoing management can bring coherence to systems and practices while supporting additional business needs.

Client experience 02

Supporting expansion across facilities

The situation

A pediatric day care organization expanded from two facilities to ten across two states, with headquarters and a transportation subsidiary adding to its operating requirements.

The organization also needed procedures to support frequent employee departures.

Vectrocon’s role

Vectrocon supported the expanding environment through established configurations, deployment practices, and personnel procedures.

The work

We developed configurations and deployment practices that could be used for subsequent facility openings. We also established procedures for managing personnel changes as part of ongoing IT operations.

The outcome and continuing relationship

Established practices saved time and effort on later openings and supported near-weekly employee departures.

This experience demonstrates practical scalability: additional facilities and personnel could be supported by extending an established approach to systems and management.

Client experience 03

Managing local systems within a corporate relationship

The situation

A U.S. subsidiary of an overseas parent took on contractual requirements that called for changes to its local systems, controls, and documentation.

The work required coordination among local management, corporate management, and corporate IT, with a defined division of system ownership.

Vectrocon’s role

Vectrocon managed the agreed local environment and coordinated changes with the relevant stakeholders.

Corporate IT retained financial applications and websites. Vectrocon managed local endpoints, firewalls, and security services, including VPN and multifactor authentication.

The work

We assessed gaps in systems, controls, and documentation, then implemented changes in stages with management approvals.

The work included a Microsoft 365 Government migration and the use of specialist documentation resources. A third-party mock audit identified remaining issues, which Vectrocon addressed through system and documentation changes.

Throughout this multiyear effort, we continued daily support, personnel administration, equipment upgrades, and general network management.

The outcome and continuing relationship

The client implemented the changes within an agreed corporate division of responsibility. Remaining mock-audit findings were reported as mostly minor, including documentation adjustments, and the client continued using Vectrocon’s services.

This experience demonstrates how substantial implementation work and ongoing operational management can be carried forward within the same relationship.
